Ascoltate l'incipit:

(R. Lifshuts - Tradizionale)

Avevo padre e madre
e tre graziose sorelline
sono sconparsi nel fumo e nelle fiamme
e io sono rimasto solo al mondo.

the organ sound
sound for you today with courage
because tomorrow I could be
Treblinka
and we will be only a heap of ashes .

Hunger is a pain
the road is paved with dead
oh Jews, the sons of mercy
want to live another day.

The wind carries my voice
from dawn to late night
the ghetto can drown in our
curses
with him and his infamous manufacturers.

We hunted like animals
life is like an abyss.

Bodies are flags of skeletons
the sun continues to shine
vada all'inferno.
Dai cuori scaturisce il fuoco
basta col massacro di innocenti
oh! ebrei, impugnate le spade
e venite, facciamola finita!

Suona l'organetto
per alleviare le nostre pene e disgrazie
perché piuttosto che andare a Treblinka
è meglio cadere in battaglia.

XII. Via Mila

1

2

3
Soltanto ebrei e tedeschi... ebrei! ebrei! Senza fine.
They have already killed three hundred and fifty thousand Jews of Warsaw -
old shot in the cemetery, the other brought to Treblinka.
But Mila Street is still full, crammed as the cars!

4
Why? Not all have been massacred? Have not all been shot and hanged?
are the Jews of the shops on that piece of road and street Nowolipie Lesz -
numerini with the Jews, the Jews in luck! Those who managed
to enter a shop. The last Jews. Yes, the rest! The rest ...

5
Jews of shops and street Gesia Jews, the Jews of Kehile,
those with smears on his chest and broom in hand,
plazuvke called Jews, who singing each morning out of the ghetto,
and Jews hiding places ... There are still Jews in Warsaw! And I did not know.

6
Maybe there were not! That they had never come into the world!
But since there are, it would be better if they were dead
before he got away Mila ... this street in Warsaw. Hear, hear
all: it is good that God does not exist ... also se fa così male stare senza di Lui!

7
Ma se ci fosse, sarebbe ancor peggio! Dio e via Mila... che coppia!
Tirate fuori i vostri bimbi nascosti nelle valigie e schiacciateli contro il muro!
Accendete un gran rogo e saltateci dentro; strappatevi i capelli:
c'è un Dio! Che ingiustizia! Che beffa! Che vergogna!

8
"All the Jews before ten o'clock, and not a second later, will be on Mila Street.
E 'allowed to bring one suitcase ... and if someone stays at home, will be killed on the spot."

9
dawn began to come from everywhere.
Some came from the cellars, while others descended from the attic, you could tell immediately
where they were hiding ... down from the sick bed, as if they were healthy!
And you do not help them walk, do not hold them, not raise them if they fall.

10

a great fear that the pallor of the faces of those one hundred thousand reflects.

12
Terror! Mila Street is filled, it is full of Jews - is in the air.
And we, we no longer belong to the earth, we are missing under my feet.
I see friends, acquaintances ... I forgot their names, I forget how
are called, as are all dead ... Who is this? And this? Who is this woman with the baby?

13
I hid in a house and was lying on the floor with my son all one day and one night
. At dawn, we slipped into the ranks of my shop -
in rows of five, ready for selection, ready to get on the scale
German to be killed now or later ... I passed them head on.

14
Then I saw how they snatched a bag from the shoulders of a lean
jew, and the bag started crying ... a baby! A jew boy! The gendarme rages:
seeking the father ... cries the child, what is your father! The child looks at
father looks at him and not cry ... looks at him and betrays him.

15
What baby! So the German has pulled out of line to another Jew, an "innocent" - You!
and put them both among those sentenced to death - that's fun!
I saw ... Leave me alone, do not ask questions, do not ask me what or how or where!
I beseech you: do not try to know what happened to Mila Street.

Poem: Welcome To Church

La Partita di Duchamp

Duchamp in front of a chessboard
with pieces created by Max Ernst (around 1950)

Quote "the" game of Duchamp, one played with his alter ego, Rrose Sélavy. In 1920 Marcel Duchamp choosing feminine features are duplicated: that of Rose Sélavy. In 1921 the name of Rose Rrose had turned into a game of words published page. 6 of "The Pilhaou-Thibaou" (fifteenth issue of "391") is signed Rrsose Sélavy. Picabia had taken the phrase from a letter which Duchamp had sent him from New York in January. It was the first time that name was added to a floral "r" and what he did was to duplicate the character newborn. It was just the simple addition of a consonant Eelin even better for the mystery of the double: a newborn creature immediately began to transform, to own a "biography".

"A" game is ; a King's Gambit accepted . E 'cruise. Good divertimento.

Vediamo the game, stating that all the titles in italics refer to as many works by the French. [1] Bride (top work) refers to the androgynous nature of virginity, which levels all differences between men and women. The propeller is associated with the pattern of the wheel of the wheel and fire alchemy: the transmutation of the active agent. It is, finally, the spark of the passion of love, as a means of inner knowledge and regeneration. The shape of the bachelor (at the bottom center below the propeller, in the work) is represented by the image of the machine: a grinding of chocolate .

[2] bottle rack circular standing without support, the subject is very common in French wines. Egouttoir refers to the verb égoutter, sgoccialare, which in turn draws very closely égoûter, remove taste.

[3] By beard and mustache Duchamp would explicate the esoteric content of Leonardo's masterpiece. The androgynous nature of the face of the Mona Lisa, the embodiment of universal man, alluding to concepts of totality and perfection (natural and artistic). As the writing underneath, "Elle hache o que", meaning vulgar and ironic, it expresses the value of the work of Duchamp's irreverent than the design, noble and ennobling of traditional painting .

Founded in 1934 by an idea of \u200b\u200bMan Ray, the board put together, it was surreal to those who suffered, who was ejected after the first year, like Dali and those who have never formally joined, such as Giorgio De Chirico. No game can make surrealism as chess, game between Duchamp and Man Ray , on a terrace in surrealist film, Entr'acte, René Clair, is the perfect synthesis.

The same Magritte was fond of chess to devote so many pictures to the subject, "Le jockey perdu " (The Lost Jockey) of 1926 (one of his early Surrealist paintings), ripetuto nel titolo nel 1942
