things lost, but found in the elegant writing

The I reread the book is an edition of 1966 (same cover, which is the page of a book of primary school) and will take the nostalgia as the years go by, I found still intact in its freshness and spontaneity.

Unable to read the various stories do not "take sides", "feel close" for the various protagonists to Lorenzo Battiston, tramway if that does not take the elementary school "sir, we shot down if we lose the place ..." for the child Ronconi "... it was a soul ..." where the grandmother recommended "Mr Master , my grandchild is too studied, the law always hurts him ... tell him to play, it should be fun, like all children his age ... "with her grandmother, who accompanied her grandson one day that" ... there was running and running in the yard ... "the teacher asked him not to remove the coat" The can hurt, sir ... even the air is fresh, " Ronconi and a day at school was no longer ... "Ronconi," I said, making an appeal and did not hear that little voice say: "Present, sir," I knew it would not come to school more, and also understood the boys, and Martinelli said: "The flowers that I have led, sir ... "" It would take them to Ronconi. "and the next day" Martinelli, always full of flowers, he put on an empty seat next to him.. " There is gentle humor in the story the pen of Mrs. Cenci, who collected the money of the card company's Dante Alighieri, loving portraits of the master Garbini (The secret of the master) or the master Pagliani (Treasure Pagliani master).

The book, which is probably not the most present in the shelves of our libraries (but if you find some flea market or in any public library, take the hand!), We let out a smile, clean of memories of an elapsed time of writing this page ...

How To I Read These Dimensions

Duchamp e gli scacchi

Marcel Duchamp (born in Blaiville village in Normandy, 20 km from Rouen - France, July 28 1887 and died in Neuilly-sur-Seine on October 2 1968) the famous French artist, often used the theme of chess in his works. He is also known as a great lover of chess. In 1923, 36 years, Duchamp's chess career has officially started. In that year, played his greatest tournament in Brussels, placing third. Practically this year for 12 years, Duchamp ceases to be art active and dedicated almost solely to chess. In 1922 he became champion of the Metropolitan League of New York and is part of the team Marshall Club di Scacchi.

His obsession for chess became stronger and stronger over the years, and about his own marriage in 1927, a friend, Man Ray (great exponent of surrealism) wrote: "Duchamp spent most the week of their honeymoon studying chess problems, and his wife to despair, revenge, getting up one night while he was asleep and glued all the pieces to the board. They divorced three months later. "

In 1935, Duchamp was appointed Captain of the French team for the Olympics to match that lasted 4 years. Duchamp remained undefeated and scored 9 11con on the highest individual score. In the same year Duchamp concludes a tournament for the first match of placing FSB (9 points out of 11). And 'This is the last time we see Duchamp engaged in a chess tournament. The cycle of competitive chess is over.

The attraction of the game "competitive" will decrease gradually from 1945 to 1968 without another sconmparire never definitively. So much so that in the last two years of his life he participated in the tournament in Monaco.

Portrait de joueurs d'échecs (1910) - Olio su tela, cm. 50x61
Collezione Arensberg - Philadelphia Museum
Duchamp Marcel (1887-1968)

Qui appaiono ancora gli influssi di Cezanne (il quadro ricorda nell'impostazione and colors the famous "The Card Players ," and the game is still seen in its concrete reality, although the storage of the pieces on a chessboard shrinks from any system. And 'this is the first painting to the theme of "Chess" by Marcel.

Study for chess players (1911) - Oil on canvas, cm. 50x61
Marcel Duchamp (1887-1968)

is the same as Marcel explains the painting "Portrait of Chess Players " located at the Art Museum Modern Paris (dimensions: cm. 108x101) which is the final version of the study referred to above: "Using the technique of gears in my interpretation of the Cubist theory, I painted the heads of my two brothers while playing chess not in a garden but this time in an undefined space. On the right Jacques Villon, Raymond Duchamp-Villon to the left, the sculptor, each head indicated by the following profiles. At the center of the canvas some simplified form of chess pieces placed in case. Another feature of the painting is the gray tone of the collection. Usually the first reaction against cubism "Fauvism" was to abandon the violent colors and replace them with muted tones. This canvas was painted in the light of the gas (which gave a green light) in order to obtain the damping effect of color when you see it again in the light of day "( Marcel Duchamp, The Museum of Modern Art at Philadelphia Museum of Art, Prestel, 1989, p.. 254).

Bike path or trail?

Per la pista "ciclabile" del Trasimeno vale lo stesso concetto, perché anche se opere more important still stalled or even not to project, this does not mean they can not be continued work in parallel even if not aimed at solving the most serious problems, may or may improve and enhance the already impressive panorama of the largest lake in peninsular Italy.

Yes, I used the conditional tense, because once again the regional and provincial administrations and municipalities in the area of \u200b\u200bLake Trasimeno, have lost 'opportunity to stand still, avoid waste and save another un ulteriore inutile e dannosa "opera" pubblica che qui attorno al lago Trasimeno ha ormai soltanto nel nome l'unico aspetto positivo.

Di certo no! Innanzitutto, il piano stradale non è asfaltato ne minimamente battuto e spianato e sono presenti per tutto il percorso, avvallamenti, irregolarità, ciuffi d'erba cospicui e soprattutto, tanti, tanti, tanti sassi di varie dimensioni che permettono di fatto l'utilizzo della pista solo a who is in possession of a bike like mountain bikes but it obviously goes into much more interesting trails in the hills of Umbria is full. Secondly, it must be said that the path is not contiguous, but rather is broken in several places, because due to the presence of coastal villages, the shape of the land and existing roads, would never, ever have been possible to do otherwise. Another reason to avoid this mess. What is even more serious when one considers that the points where the track "path" is interrupted, we are forced to take the road which of course is much-used route in the summer and the situation is further aggravated by the fact that in practice, there is almost no reporting adequate measures to warn motorists and cyclists of possible dangers. We must say that the dangers if they do not run, because, fortunately, the track does not use hardly any. Ultimately there is to emphasize the fact that most of the route of the track "path", is shared by car drivers. Oh yes, because to accomplish this "wonder" has seen fit to make a few kilometers of secondary roads, unpaved and luckily just passed through but had existed for decades and are still covered by the cars of residents of adjacent houses that were built well before the track "path." Sometimes I to go with the car and I think it comes naturally to those groups of German tourists in number, are competing in a stage of the Tour of Italy. Fortunately, these tourists know, as it is a cycle track and of course they look good from our walk. Another danger averted!

You'll notice that I used quotation marks every time I wrote the word "cycle" in reference to the slope of the Trasimeno. Well, I think is the minimum and returned to reaffirm strongly that for me, but believe me, I'm not the only one I have described above, is not a pista ciclabile ma come ho scritto nel titolo, una mulattiera ed a giudicare dalle teste di chi l’ha voluta e creata, credo proprio che l’analogia col simpatico quadrupede sia quantomeno corretta, soprattutto per quanto attiene alle limitate capacità intellettive dell’animale.

Spero che i muli non si offendano!

Tv Programming Proposal Sample

Taxi? What are the top three? The fourth island

The size of the vessels, and especially their draft, ie the part under water, requiring only the navigation through established routes and consistently clean from mud and of course this caused to the dewatering an overworked, but because we want to do us harm, do not carry away the silt from the lake, the move, scrambling to well, muddying the water even more and exacerbating the situation, not to mention that after a few days, all the mud is removed redeposit at the point where he had been taken.

I wonder: instead of spending all that money for pumping mud, you could buy and agile small boats? Besides these resources could be useful in the future, because even if the lake were to return to their normal water levels, certainly on weekdays, there would never be a number of admissions to justify the use of vessels of 200 or 300 places.

Calboni I believe that the surveyor would agree!
